Real-time performance monitoring

To have the possibility to view in real time the machine performance indicators means getting considerable advantages in terms of production efficiency and product life cycle.
With this in mind, SMI developed SmyIot, a platform capable of collecting the operating data of all installed machines in order to perform continuous, real-time monitoring, optimize costs and maintenance interventions and reduce downtime.
The analysis of these data and their interpretation allow SMI to provide customers with efficient support, thanks to the simplification of troubleshooting operations and promotion of preventive maintenance.
By logging in to the platform, the customer can access his own personal control room and view the machine overall performance, detailed situation, production report, alarms history, machine states alarms, electricity quality and consumption and telemetry.

  • Having a comprehensive dataset available that can be accessed both by the customer and by SMI technicians, it is possible to create a real synergy between the parties, jointly evaluating the interventions to be adopted in order to optimize production efficiency.

  • The customer receives per email weekly and monthly reports with all data related to his own machine. This enables to monitor the parameters and compare the performance levels over time, without the need for any manual effort.

  • The customer can view at any time the operating parameters of the installed machine. Furthermore, it has the possibility to access the history and compare the indicators related to different time periods. This enables the identification of consumption trends and energy-consuming formats.

  • The customer has the possibility to access the history of alarms and accurate data to understand the critical points that have had an impact on the machine performance, carrying out an analysis of correlation with other phenomena, such as the presence of non-optimal operating or environmental conditions.
